Teufel Audio has introduced the Motiv XL, a portable wireless speaker featuring a replaceable battery. The manufacturer claims that five drivers provide a rich stereo sound experience. Additionally, the Motiv XL is compatible with popular streaming services.

The Motiv XL is the first wireless speaker from Teufel to be certified as “Roon ready.” This means it can be seamlessly integrated into existing Roon environments. Roon is a music management solution that unites digitized vinyl and CD collections with the world of streaming music services. Users can thus play all their favorite tracks on Roon Ready endpoints like the Motiv XL via a single interface. Please note that Roon is not free. The user must purchase a subscription.
Teufel Motiv XL: five drivers and class D amplification
Thanks to its compact housing, the speaker can be installed virtually anywhere in the home. Teufel has integrated a three-channel system into the slightly over half-meter-wide front panel. This consists of two center speakers, two tweeters, and a robust, 200-millimeter-long woofer with a Kevlar cone for rich bass.
Inside the Motiv XL, a digital-to-analog converter with up to 24-bit/96 kHz resolution and powerful Class D amplifiers with a total RMS output of 210 watts ensure crystal-clear sound and high impulse fidelity. According to the designers, the Dynamore technology developed by Teufel also guarantees a stunningly beautiful stereo panorama.
