Sonus Faber Suprema
Sonus Faber Suprema

Sonus Faber presented new acoustic systems Suprema , which became the most expensive in the history of the Italian company.

The complete Sonus Faber Suprema 2.2 system includes two main floor-standing speakers measuring 1905 x 650 x 880 mm and weighing 110 kg each, as well as two low-frequency modules measuring 1451 x 850 x 525 mm and weighing 103 kg .

The original shaped cases are made of multi-layer plywood and aluminum, and covered with valuable wood veneer and genuine leather. Mechanical decoupling from the floor is provided by a pedestal developed in collaboration with IsoAcoustics .

The model has a 4.5-band configuration; the active crossover filter for subwoofers weighing 17 kg is placed in a separate housing, also made of wood. The company also offers the Sonus Faber Suprema 2.1 system, which includes one low-frequency module.

Retail prices on the European market are as follows – Sonus Faber Suprema 2.2 will cost 800,000 euros , the Sonus Faber Suprema 2.1 version costs slightly less – 725,000 euros.
