REL Acoustics has announced that the REL HT/1003 MKII, REL HT/1205 MKII, and REL HT/1510 Predator active subwoofers, previously only available in black, will now also be available in white. This expansion of color options provides customers with more choices to complement their home theater or music listening setup.
The modern drivers in these models are paired with lightweight diffusers made from REL’s proprietary CarbonGlass material, and they are powered by powerful REL NextGen5 amplifiers operating in Class D. This combination delivers exceptional dynamic performance. Furthermore, the REL HT series subwoofers are equipped with input filters that are specifically designed for home cinema use, ensuring high performance down to a frequency of approximately 20 Hz.
Naturally, a subwoofer is seldom a focal point in the room’s design because of its unique positioning. Therefore, it is crucial that the bass modules blend seamlessly into the overall aesthetic of the space. That’s why REL Acoustics has chosen to provide REL HT series subwoofers in both black and white options.
Version 1: The REL HT series currently consists of three active subwoofers. The smallest model, REL HT/1003 MKII, features a 10-inch long-stroke diffuser made of REL CarbonGlass material and a 300-watt Class D amplifier. It has dimensions of 362 x 343 x 387 mm and weighs 15.5 kg. Moving up, the REL HT/1205 MKII model comes with a 12-inch long-stroke speaker and a 500-watt amplifier. This subwoofer measures 413 x 387 x 438 mm and weighs 19.6 kg. At the top of the HT series is the REL HT/1510 Predator, which boasts a 15-inch long-stroke driver and a kilowatt amplifier. It is a hefty 45.2 kg and has dimensions of 540 x 457 x 494 mm.
