Klipsch Announces Four Speaker Models in McLaren Legends Series Lineup

The American company Klipsch continued its cooperation with the McLaren F1 team. His next result is 4 new items in the McLaren Legends Series. According to Klipsch, official partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Racing Team, the series epitomizes “the original triumph of Bruce McLaren and the pioneering spirit of Paul Klipsch’s sound.” More specifically, the four new Klipsch McLaren Legends Series are dedicated to Bruce McLaren’s No. 5 car, in which he won the title of the youngest Grand Prix winner in 1958.

The Klipsch McLaren Legends Series includes Klipsch The Nines McLaren Edition active monitors, equipped with 8-inch long-throw woofers. The model processes a digital signal with a resolution of up to 192 kHz / 24 bits and is able to receive it not only on optical and USB inputs, but also on an HDMI port with ARC support. Bluetooth version 5.0 is also provided.

Analog linear RCA is supplemented with a built-in phono stage input. The Klipsch Connect app, in addition to equalizer settings, will provide over-the-air updates, registration and product support, right down to access to videos with quick setup instructions.

Floor standing Klipsch Forte McLaren Edition – three-way system. High frequencies are handled by an inch titanium diaphragm driver equipped with a Tractrix horn with patented Mumps technology. The K-702 horn module works at mid frequencies, and a 12-inch woofer paired with a 15-inch passive radiator works at low frequencies.

Klipsch Forte allow two-channel in-band connection. The design combines wood veneer panels handcrafted in Hope, Alaska, USA, with McLaren papaya vinyl. Sales of the Klipsch Forte McLaren Edition should begin in the coming days.

Klipsch The One II McLaren Edition Portable Desktop Speaker – 2.1 model. A pair of 2.25-inch full-range speakers is complemented by a 4.5-inch woofer. The total power of separate amplification is 60 watts.

The One II receives input either wirelessly via Bluetooth or via cable to a 3.5mm analog input. The One II will go on sale in early spring.

The Klipsch MCL-905 McLaren Edition acoustics is the largest in the series and also a completely new model: Klipsch professional cinema acoustics have been adapted for home use. The system includes a 3-inch compression tweeter with a titanium diaphragm in the K-691 horn, which is responsible for high frequencies.

The bass is handled by two 15″ K-45 composite woofers. The Klipsch MCL-905 McLaren Edition cabinets are handcrafted at the same location in Hope, Alaska. A total of 25 pairs of Klipsch MCL-905 McLaren Edition will be produced. This will happen by early spring 2023.

The manufacturer’s recommended retail prices for the Klipsch McLaren Edition Legends Series models in the US are already known: The Nines costs $1,900, Forte is $10,100, The One II is $350, and MCL-905 is $16,000.
