The new German floorstanding StrEight 1.8 FS features a wide front panel and eight-inch woofers. This design can be called new for the manufacturer, whose early products have narrower forms.
The woofer diaphragm is made of embossed paper with a concave dust cap, the magnetic system is made of ferrite, and the basket is made of aluminum. The low-frequency radiator is paired with an AMT tweeter with a neodymium magnet.

Acoustic systems are characterized by operation in the frequency range of 35 – 25,000 Hz with a sensitivity of 87 dB and an impedance of 4 ohms. The recommended input power is 120 W, the crossover frequency is 1.3 kHz. The column size is 940 × 260 × 315 mm and the weight is 20.6 kg.
The upper part of the speakers is able to tilt at an angle of 5°, the speakers themselves – at 3°.
