Canton has launched the Atelier OnWall and InWall product lines. As the names suggest, these speakers are flat and relatively shallow wall-mounted. They can also be optionally built into the wall. According to Canton, an elegant design is combined with audiophile technology.
Canton OnWall and InWall: wall-mounted speakers
Canton’s Atelier OnWall and Atelier InWall models are less than ten centimeters deep, allowing them to be discreetly integrated into the living environment, either visible as a design object or virtually invisibly built into the wall. Technically, Canton uses newly developed ATB midrange/woofers and AB tweeters with integrated lenses, designed for high precision, clear highs, and controlled bass. A newly designed tweeter grille also ensures wider dispersion. Both drivers thus offer a full-fledged hi-fi experience that is also suitable for use in a home theater.
The OnWall version features a satin finish, deep black cones, and a magnetically attached cover grille that sits flush with the frame. The integrated wall mount and VESA compatibility simplify installation and allow for flexible alignment.
The InWall models, on the other hand, disappear almost completely into the wall, leaving only the frameless cladding visible and concealing the installation cutout. Advanced mounting solutions, sound-neutral covers, and flexible application options make the Atelier product line a versatile option for both two-channel and multi-channel applications.
The new Canton Atelier models come in white or black, with prices ranging from approximately €500 to €900 each, depending on the model.
