HiBy R1 × MiDi is a new compact digital player created in collaboration with the MiDi music festival, symbolizing China’s independent scene. This device combines the spirit of portable MP3 players of the early 2000s with modern technology: Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC, high-resolution touchscreen and support for streaming services. R1 fits easily in your pocket, but provides the functionality of a full-fledged Hi-Fi device, including support for DSD256 and PCM 384 kHz/32 bit, Bluetooth 5.1 and expandable memory up to 2 TB. Pre-installed tracks from the MiDi festival give the player the character of a live performance, and battery life of up to 15 hours makes it an ideal companion on the go.
The player is made in a translucent case and weighs only 70 g. The 3-inch IPS touch screen with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels provides convenient navigation, and the updated HiByOS operating system provides access to a wide range of functionality: MSEB equalizer, TIDAL and Qobuz support, online radio and USB DAC. Built-in buttons allow you to control tracks even blindly – like in the era of cassette players. HiBy R1 × MiDi is not just a player, but a “pocket stage” for fans of rock and indie.
