Arturia V Collection X released with six new plugins and redesigned tools

The developers announced the release of the updated set of Arturia V Collection X plugins on the official website. The tenth edition of the suite includes two new tools, several redesigned plugins, and a bunch of other content.

The tenth version of the V Collection comes out 1.5 years after the release of the previous numbered edition of the set . According to the description, the updated package includes all previously released Arturia developments along with “two completely new instruments, two completely redesigned plug-ins, four sought-after synths and three exclusive preset packs.”

The total number of plugins in the set is now 39 pieces. Among them are emulations of vintage and modern synthesizers, unique virtual instruments and sound effects created based on real equipment.

New plugins and typing tools

Arturia V Collection X received six new plugins:

  1. The CP-70 V  is a replica of the popular Yamaha CP-70 electric-acoustic piano, with “detailed and accurate samples and accurate sound modeling.”
  2. MiniFreak V  is a hybrid synthesizer that replicates the capabilities of the real Arturia MiniFreak. The tool will offer digital voices, simulated analog filters, deep modulation capabilities and more.
  3. Acid V  is a replica of the iconic Roland TB-303 bass synthesizer with an exact recreation of its sound. The plugin was released in August 2023 as a standalone tool and is now a full member of the V Collection.
  4. Augmented WOODWINDS  – Atmospheric, organic and believable woodwinds with additional sound synthesis capabilities.
  5. Augmented BRASS  – brass with a separate synthesis section for creating unique and unusual sound patches.
  6. Augmented GRAND PIANO  is a grand piano that combines sampling and analogue sound modeling, and is equipped with a synthesis section for greater possibilities for obtaining a unique sound.

In addition to the new tools, the company has also updated two plugins included in the V Collection. According to the developers, the Arturia Mini V synthesizer and Wurli V electric piano have been rewritten from scratch, receiving new sound engines and an expanded set of features.

The recommended price for the kit is 599 €. Users of previous versions of the set will receive special conditions for updating. You can get more details on  the official Arturia website .
