The top 7.2-channel AV receiver in the low-profile NR line, the Marantz Cinema 70s, which replaced its predecessor NR1711, now has the ability to work with 8K resolution (60 Hz). Support is provided via three HDMI inputs out of six available. The Marantz Cinema 70s receiver has streamer functions with support for PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz and DSD up to 5.6 MHz over a local network and via external USB drives. There is access to streaming services Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Deezer, TuneIn, etc. There is Bluetooth on board (audio transmission to wireless headphones is possible) and 2-band Wi-Fi. The only HDMI output supports 8K and an expanded eARC return channel, through which broadcasts of Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby TrueHD, etc. formats are available. The model has a wide switching set.
