The Denon AVC-X3800H AV receiver has almost the same functionality as the model with the AVC-X4800H index , but due to a slightly simplified design, it is offered at a more affordable price. The device is equipped with nine channels of sound amplification and has Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoders, with the ability to build systems in these formats in configurations up to 7.2.2 or 5.2.4. The AV receiver also provides the ability to obtain virtual 3D sound in the absence of special high-altitude acoustics in the system.
If desired, the home theater system can be expanded by connecting additional power amplifiers to the 11.2-channel outputs from the AV receiver processor. Audyssey MultEQ XT32 auto-calibration system is provided to easily adjust surround sound depending on your listening conditions. Like the older models in this series, the Denon AVC-X3800H has the prestigious IMAX Enhanced certification.
The AV receiver is equipped with seven HDMI inputs and three outputs, supporting HDCP 2.3, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Dynamic HDR. In addition, a signal source with 8K resolution can be connected to one of the Denon AVC-X3800H’s HDMI inputs, and image upscaling to this standard is possible for all HDMI inputs of the AV receiver. The device also has an eARC audio return channel function, which allows you to broadcast sound from a connected TV to it. VBR and QFT technologies allow you to optimize picture quality in computer games.
Denon AVC-X3800H has all the necessary functions for playing music in streaming mode. Support for popular online services is provided, including TIDAL and Spotify, as well as the ability to play music from network devices. The device has Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth, which works for both reception and transmission. Of course, the Denon AVC-X3800H features proprietary HEOS wireless multiroom technology, and in addition, the device is certified for use in Roon systems. To control the AV receiver, in addition to the standard remote control, you can use a proprietary mobile application or Alexa and Google Assistant voice systems.
