Topping has introduced its newest in-ear headphones, the Hane, part of the ArpegEar series. Consistent with Topping’s commitment to quality, the Hane headphones showcase a stunning design. The outer panels, crafted from 3D-printed polymer resin, feature delicate, feather-like embellishments that evoke the traditional Chinese art of dian tsui. According to the manufacturer, these outer panels reflect the “radiant luster of a gemstone, exhibiting captivating variations in color and shadow as the light shifts.”
Topping Hane in-ear headphones are engineered to ensure a secure and comfortable fit, making them suitable for extended use. This latest model features wide-band dynamic drivers with a 10 mm DLC diaphragm, delivering exceptional detail, an expanded dynamic range, and maintaining distortion levels below 0.05%. Additionally, the manufacturer claims that the Topping Hane headphones function within a frequency range of 5 Hz to 35 kHz, exhibit a sensitivity of 115 dB / Vrms at 1 kHz, and have an impedance of 80 Ohms ± 15% at 1 kHz.
Topping Hane in-ear headphones are equipped with dual-position PTC (Precision Tone Control) micro switches. Users can adjust four separate switches up or down with the included tool. These switches provide a total of 16 different setting combinations to accommodate various audio environments. For instance, to minimize the peak associated with ear canal coupling, you can engage switches 3 and 4 at the same time, which will effectively reduce the 6 kHz frequency range, thereby enhancing the overall listening experience.
In addition to six pairs of ear pads, the Topping Hane in-ear headphones come with a soft, tangle-resistant 1.5 m braided cable that is terminated on one end with a standard 2-pin 0.78 mm connector.
Hane’s in-ear headphones are now on the market. In the UK, the suggested retail price for this new product is £129.
