The Moondrop x Crinacle DUSK headphones are hybrid in-ear headphones that combine 2 dynamic drivers, 2 armature drivers and 2 planar drivers. Equipped with traditional analog and USB-C DSP cable.
These headphones are a continuation of the Blessing series, which was the first to use 3D printing to create precise acoustic filters, solving the acoustic problems inherent in multi-driver headphones. Over the years, the hardware configuration has been revised with Crinacle, resulting in a new planar tweeter with innovative acoustic technology that improves the high-frequency sound. As a result of this collaboration, DUSK headphones appeared, which became a new legend in the market.
DUSK headphones feature a three-way crossover and “2DD + 2BA + 2Planar” structure, which provides more natural definition of high frequencies through joint tuning. This is achieved through the use of dual dynamic drivers, a 3D printed filter and a more advanced frequency crossover circuit.
MOONDROP x Crinacle DUSK features two new miniature planar HF drivers that provide lower distortion, wider range and higher resolution. This update avoids the problems of narrow bandwidth and high odd harmonic distortion common with balanced armature drivers.
HODDDUS (Horizontally-Opposed Double Dynamic Driver System) uses two 10mm dynamic drivers that are positioned close together and symmetrically, using 3D printed components. This creates a low-pass filter and damping devices that improve acoustic tuning. By using dual 10mm dynamic drivers, the maximum SPL of the DUSK headphones is twice that of a single dynamic driver, with half the diaphragm travel, giving the DUSK greater dynamic range and less non-linear distortion, significantly improving sound quality in the lower frequencies. .
Each of the two dynamic drivers consists of a flexible paper-cone diaphragm suspension for smooth, natural tonal sound.
