Moondrop PARA II – a new pair of full-size planar magnetic headphones designed for enthusiasts of balanced audio and advanced design technology. This model features a large 100-mm diaphragm utilizing Full Drive Technology (FDT), ensuring consistent coverage of effective conductive paths throughout the entire surface. As a result, the diaphragm’s vibration becomes more uniform, resembling the characteristics of electrostatic systems, which minimizes vibration separation and timbre distortion.

The magnetic field is generated by an array of 36 large N52 magnets optimized using finite element modeling (FEA). This configuration ensures uniform distribution of the magnetic flux across the entire surface of the diaphragm and high transparency of the structure for sound.
The diaphragm is made of an ultra-thin film 1.2 µm thick and has a special topological structure of silver tracks. This reduces the influence of the metal on the surface tension and further minimizes the separation of vibrations. The built-in TBT (Tension Balancing Technology) evenly distributes the tension, which improves the controllability of the membrane at high signal levels and maintains a low level of distortion.
The driver body uses an integrated multi-layer design with a uniform magnetic field that completely covers a large area of the membrane. At the same time, the frame materials were redesigned: instead of aluminum alloy, high-strength industrial plastic was used, which made it possible to reduce the weight without losing rigidity and withstand the loads of the magnetic system.

The acoustic tuning is done with natural timbre and wide VDSF-compatible frequency range in mind. This gives a smooth, open soundstage and detailed presentation across the entire range. At high sound pressure, distortion remains below 0.05% over almost the entire operating range, which ensures a clear sound and a wide dynamic range.
The appearance is designed in an industrial style with an all-steel polished construction inspired by Bauhaus, combining strict design and functionality.
Included in the package is a cable with a balanced 4.4 mm jack and an adapter to 3.5 mm.
