Japan’s Audio-Technica today unveiled the ATH-CKS30TW+ true wireless in-ear headphones. The press release boasts “isolating active noise cancellation and a head-spinning bass that you’d never expect from such compact earbuds.” The new ATH-CKS30TW+ will retail for just under $100.

Audio-Technica ATHCKS30TW+

Audio-Technica’s latest earbuds claim to be the culmination of a 15-year quest for super-deep bass, and feature proprietary acoustic channels and 9mm-diameter drivers that precisely control airflow. The resulting soundstage sounds like a live performance, according to the manufacturer, with rich, tight, controlled bass, detailed mids, and sparkling highs for all your music, movies, and games. And if you want to make it boom, Audio-Technica’s Connect app gives you access to a low-end equalizer (Bass Boost – Deep), which amplifies the bass even more for dance beats that have to be heard to be believed.

Additionally, listeners can make any audio source sound better, from vocals to dynamic gaming audio, thanks to four additional EQ presets. These presets, Bass Boost – Beat, Dynamic, Vocal and Clear, can be set as favorites in the app and are automatically activated every time the earbuds are used. Because the ATH-CKS30TW+ combines super-deep bass with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), music lovers can fully immerse themselves in their music, unhindered by ambient noise from air conditioners or public transport.

Active noise cancellation with feedforward technology can be activated with a tap of the built-in touch sensors, and in transparency or speech mode it also lets in ambient sounds. This allows listeners to have conversations without having to remove the earbuds from their ears.

With noise canceling turned on, users can enjoy up to 6.5 hours of use per fully charged earbud. When used with the fully charged, ultra-compact charging case, the earbuds can last up to 17.5 hours. Alternatively, for those who want to enjoy their earbuds for even longer, noise canceling can be turned off. This allows listeners to enjoy up to 7.5 hours of use per earbud, or up to 20 hours when used with the charging case.

Available in four stylish colours, the ATH-CKS30TW+ sit securely in the ear, providing a natural, secure fit that prevents bass drop-out and physically blocks out unwanted ambient noise from entering the headphones. Comfortable, lightweight and snug, these earbuds are the perfect companion during intense workouts, while their IP55 water and dust resistance rating gives listeners peace of mind whether they’re heading out for an intense workout or hitting the beach.

Finally, the convenient Out of Range alarm and Product Locator ensure that listeners never have to wonder where they left their earbuds again.

Audio-Technica ATH-CKS30TW+: price and delivery information
