Audeze Reference Quality Magnetic Planar Sound
Based on the amazing LCD series, the LCD-GX combines Audeze’s patented Fluxor™ magnets and ultra-thin Uniforce™ diaphragms to deliver amazing sound quality and immersion. The advanced tablet magnetic LCD drivers are at least twice as large as other gaming headphones, delivering better bass, superior soundstage and superior resolution, suitable not only for gaming, but also for monitoring, mixing and audio editing. The headphones are open-back, which contributes to a wider and more accurate soundstage.
Comfortable
The LCD-GX is handcrafted in Audeze’s California factory and features a magnesium body, memory foam earpieces and a suspension headband designed to reduce weight and improve comfort during hours-long gaming tournaments.
Quality
The new single-sided Fluxor™ magnetic structure provides high sensitivity and low distortion (100 dB/1 mW at 1 kHz), allowing the LCD-GX to work with a wide range of devices. To experience the full potential of the LCD-GX, the company’s engineers recommend using them with a high-quality DAC and amplifier, because the strength of the chain depends on the strength of its weakest link.
The LCD-GX microphone
features a detachable cable with a built-in shotgun microphone with a noise-cancelling boom microphone. The carefully designed microphone cable includes a mute button and a flexible gooseneck arm that allows you to adjust the position so that each person can find the angle that works best for them.
The LCD-GX package
comes with 2 replacement cables – a cable with a microphone boom and a standard LCD series cable with a 6.3 mm jack. The microphone cable terminates in a 3.5mm TRRS 4 jack for use with virtually all PCs, Macs, cell phones, etc. Also included is a splitter with separate inputs for headphones and microphones and an adapter for a 6.3 mm jack.
A protective case is optional.
