Astell&Kern presented its second generation TWS headphones UW100 MKII . The headphones are equipped with a Knowles armature driver, an AKM AK4332ECB chip, an active noise reduction system, and support the aptX Adaptive codec.

Rare in True Wireless stereo systems, the UW100MKII features a separate built-in high-performance 32-bit DAC, as well as a Balanced Armature driver for accurate audio reproduction, delivering accurate, high-quality audio without losing detail. Support for the aptX adaptive audio codec for exceptional audio quality is the finishing touch to ensure the UW100MKII is ready for wireless Hi-Fi audio.
New design for greater excellence
Astell&Kern has improved the highly acclaimed TWS design of the UW100 to create an even more advanced solution. The BA driver placement has been shifted towards the inner ear to better capture fine sound details, and the acoustic chamber structure and cell size have been iteratively redesigned to match the new BA driver placement to ensure optimal sound output.

The previous model AK UW100, equipped with the highest level PNI (Passive Noise Isolation) system, has been recognized as a true Hi-Fi TWS, fundamentally eliminating noise that can be caused by ANC and audio distortion, along with outstanding noise reduction characteristics. The AK UW100MKIl allows users to enjoy complete musical immersion with superior sound and the highest level of PNI technology. Unlike standard ANC technology, which focuses on canceling low-frequency noise, PNI effectively cancels unwanted ambient noise in the mid- and high-range, as well as higher-pitched sounds. If you want to hear ambient sounds, simply tap the left earbud once to activate Ambient Noise mode. You can switch between the four modes using a touch or an app.

We’ve completely redesigned the power system to significantly increase playback time, an important factor in TWS performance, without compromising the all-important sound quality. Thanks to a new internal design and current optimization, we were able to maintain the size of the headphones, significantly reduce the size of the stand and significantly increase playback time. Multi-Point and Multi-Pair Support
The UW100MKII supports Multi-Pairing and Multi-Point functions. Pair headphones with several mobile devices at the same time. Not only can you easily switch to another mobile device, but you can also listen to songs playing on your tablet while actively receiving phone notifications and calls from your smartphone. Google Fast Pair makes pairing easier and faster
The UW100MKII supports Google Fast Pair Service, making pairing with Android devices easier and faster. Fast Pair uses Bluetooth Low Latency technology to automatically recognize and pair devices. By simply opening the device’s stand next to your Android device, it enters pairing mode, eliminating the need to open Bluetooth settings and providing a simple and convenient way to pair.

Precise touch controls allow you to simply press buttons to switch functions: play music, answer calls, adjust ambient sound level and volume, etc.
Voice assistant support
