More bass while maintaining tonal quality
The original Zero had one of the best tonal balances in its class for a budget IEM with a single dynamic driver. However, this tonal balance also meant a softening of the low frequencies, which might be missing for listeners wanting a more immersive sound. Zero:2 maintains the ideal sound character but adds another 3dB in low-frequency range, providing exciting and powerful low-frequency presence to bring music to life. Bass impact and extension are noticeably improved, providing greater texture and tactile feedback in the lower frequencies.
