The SMSL DO100 PRO balanced DAC is an evolution of the DO100 model offered by the brand. The DO100 PRO features numerous improvements. It is equipped with two ES9039Q2M DAC chips and a third-generation XU316 USB XMOS interface, which allows it to support high-resolution streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD512 and MQA/MQA-CD. The HDMI ARC port also allows you to connect the DO100 PRO to your TV, as well as powered speakers or amplification system for high-quality, immersive sound.
The QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver chip complements the versatility of the DO100 PRO, providing wireless data transmission with high definition codecs: SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC. Numerous digital inputs and two balanced analog outputs RCA and XLR make this device versatile.
The HDMI ARC input on the rear panel of the DO100 PRO allows you to receive audio from your TV. Thus, the DO100 PRO DAC can be used in combination with a TV, powered speakers or amplification system to create an immersive home cinema experience.
The DO100 PRO’s USB-C port is compatible with many gaming consoles, including PS4, PS5 and Nitendo Switch. It supports USB1.1 and USB2.0 protocols.
SMSL has developed a low noise power module to cleanly power the entire DO100 PRO.
SMSL decided to integrate two ES9039Q2M DAC chips into the DO100 PRO DAC, allowing it to achieve a high level of performance. In fact, these two digital/analog conversion chips give the DO100 PRO a dynamic range and SNR of -131 dB, as well as a THD+N of 0.00005%.
The XMOS XU316 USB interface coupled with six OPA1612 op-amps allows the DO100 PRO to support high-resolution PCM 32-bit 768 kHz and native DSD streams up to DSD512. So you can enjoy the best sound quality when listening to music.
The modern DO100 PRO is equipped with the latest generation Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver chip. Operating in Bluetooth 5.1 mode, DO100 PRO is capable of receiving SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD and LDAC codecs.
