Mytek Digital was founded in New York in 1992 by Polish native Michal Jurewicz. At the time of the founding of the company, he worked in one of the leading recording studios in New York – Skyline and at the same time was developing his own DACs and ADCs for work in the studio. His works not only passed testing, but were also successfully used in work. Since 1995, Mytek Digital has become his main business and his work has continued to focus on creating high-end studio equipment. In 2005, the company became an official partner of Sony Music in the development of tools for working with the DSD format and SACD recording, which automatically made Mytek the leading DSD experts in the world.
Mytek studio DACs and ADCs, recognized by professionals even before they became famous, are currently widely used in recording studios in New York. With their help, albums of world-famous stars were recorded: David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Madonna, Mariah Carey, B 52 and many others. High sound quality has become the reason for the popularity of Mytek products in the field of home hi-fi. What lover of high-quality sound would refuse the opportunity to authentically decode DSD and playback their favorite HiRes files with studio precision?! Officially, the first DAC for home use with the brutal name Mytek Stereo192-DSD-DAC and an equally harsh appearance was presented in 2011 and it was a sensation in the High End market. But there are persistent rumors that especially savvy DSD fans had their eyes on the Mytek much earlier precisely because it was a studio device and therefore Michael decided to maintain a professional appearance in the home devices.
Quite a few years have passed since then, and now Mytek Digital produces a wide range of products for both professional and home use: DACs with preamplifiers and headphone amplifiers, power amplifiers, ADCs, digital audio converters, resamplers and other devices for building high-precision digital path.
