The history of MAG LEV Audio began in the living room of a house in the center of Ljubljana (Slovenia). Three designers were listening to records on a turntable and thinking about their new project. This is where the idea for the “player of the future” concept was born. It is based on the desire to listen to music from your favorite records, but on a player whose design should be fundamentally new. Next, engineers who had just completed a large project related to the industrial use of solar energy got involved in the work. They aimed to create something even more exciting. The combination of these two teams can be considered the beginning of the work of MAG LEV Audio.

This complex project required in-depth knowledge and hard work to complete. Together we have brought our dream project to life and look forward to the future. For MAG LEV Audio, there are no small details in the development of their devices. The combination of a classic medium and future technologies allowed the emergence of this outstanding example of engineering and design excellence. When creating the design of this player, the company strove for minimalism, since the levitating disk itself attracted attention. When deciding on the choice of finishes and materials, MAG LEV Audio designers looked for inspiration in the appearance of classic Hi-Fi equipment. This is how the laconic image of a vinyl player was born, which had everything you needed, but nothing superfluous. In combination with the futuristic drive, this gave the device an elegant appearance. LED lighting enhances the hypnotic effect produced by the levitating disk. Even in a darkened room the player will be visible.
The levitating turntable is designed for people who enjoy quality sound and innovative design. This model comes with a pre-installed tonearm and pickup. All you need to do to start listening to records is connect the player to the Phono input of your amplifier. After this, all that remains is to install your favorite record on the player, turn it on and lower the pickup needle onto the audio track. The levitating disc adds a sophisticated aesthetic and makes listening to vinyl records truly unforgettable. The moving base is made of wood veneer (bottom) and anodized aluminum. Its weight is 0.5 kg. Rotation is achieved using a patented magnetic drive levitation system consisting of a combination of magnets and electromagnetic coils. All these high-tech bells and whistles are subject to special software that regulates the strength of the electromagnetic coil. As before, lovers of good old vinyl can choose between 33 and 45 rpm.
