Goldring

Goldring was founded by Heinrich and Julius Scharf in Germany in 1906, but in 1933 its owners moved to Britain, and for 110 years it has been producing cartridges (pickup heads), stylus and accessories. The Goldring line includes more than 15 cartridges of various types, and the company is one of the world leaders in the production of equipment and accessories for high-end vinyl players.

Goldring was a family-owned company until 2003, when it became part of Armor Home Electronics Corporation. A highly qualified team of craftsmen continues the proud traditions of the company. Head of Development John Rudman, who has been with the company for over thirty years, said: Goldring’s philosophy has remained unchanged throughout its 100-year history. Our goal today is the same as the goal of the company’s founders in those distant times. We simply want Goldring owners to be able to enjoy the wonderful musical creations that lie within the grooves of their records. The company’s name, Goldring, comes from the tradition of marking the highest quality phonograph parts of the early 20th century with a gold ring. This sign became the name of the company, because it produced only products of excellent quality.

In addition to cartridges, under the Milty brand the company produces products for the care of vinyl records and turntables. Thanks to their thoughtful design and design, all Milty products are extremely easy to use. For example, the Milty Zerostat-3 antistatic gun is effective at neutralizing electrostatic charges on a vinyl record or CD. It significantly improves sound quality. There are also a variety of damping disk kits available to decouple AV equipment and special anti-static Goldring Extatic Record Sleeves to protect records from static electricity. They are put on vinyl discs before inserting them into sleeves.
