Topping introduces the DX1 , a compact , affordable yet powerful DAC and headphone amplifier. It features an optimized design that provides efficient digital-to-analog conversion as well as reliable headphone amplification.
The Topping DX1 uses a discrete LNRD (Low Noise Reference Driver) circuit to effectively filter out noise and interference from the USB power supply. As a result, the power stage is able to provide the DX1 audio circuit with a clean and stable electrical signal.
The DX1 is equipped with the brand new AKM AK4493S DAC chip. It provides accurate and musical conversion, allowing, in combination with the XMOS XU208’s USB interface, to support high-resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256.
