Tonewinner returns with the Pro version of the AD-2500 , more powerful thanks to optimized circuitry and bridge functionality. With the AD-2500 Pro, Tonewinner offers an especially powerful Class AB stereo power amplifier. It is truly capable of delivering 2x950W of power into a 4Ω load, while offering high dynamic range and low noise for accurate and musical audio reproduction.
This high power level implies the integration of a complete and effective protection circuit. Therefore, Tonewinner AD-2500 Pro is equipped with protection against short circuit, overload, overheat, overvoltage and overcurrent.
To develop such power, the AD-2500 Pro integrates no less than 8 pairs of high-performance Onsemi NJW0281G and NJW0302G transistors into the differential circuitry. They are integrated into independent mono amplifier modules, each dedicated to one channel, effectively limiting interference for clear audio reproduction. These modules are also mounted on large side heatsinks that effectively dissipate the heat generated by the power components.
The unit also provides single-ended RCA input and balanced XLR input for each channel. Input selection is done using a switch for each channel.
The Tonewinner AD-2500 weighs 23.7 kg, is a massive amplifier, made in an aluminum case with two large side heatsinks. On its front panel there is an impressive blue meter with adjustable brightness.
