Bob Graham, a distinguished designer of turntable tonearms, has been a pivotal figure in the analog audio sector since the 1980s, recognized for his groundbreaking uni-pivot designs. The Phantom III SE is a testament to his ongoing legacy of innovation.
Graham Engineering carefully selects the materials of each tonearm component to achieve high damping, maximum rigidity and minimum coloration. The tonearm uses a tapered tube design that reduces weight at the end. The lightweight titanium arm convinces with its tensile strength and rigidity.
The tonearm tubes are available in 9, 10 and 12 inches, suitable for almost any turntable. The patented Magneglide stabilization system ensures accurate vertical panning without azimuth deviation. Silver-plated copper wires inside improve conductivity and flexibility. The VTF tower allows the user to quickly and accurately adjust the VTA setting. These features minimize the acoustic signature of the tonearm. After all, a tonearm should not have an acoustic signature of its own.
