Leica has expanded its product range with a new flagship camera, the SL3.\u00a0The new product, which has become an update for the SL line, cannot be called affordable, since you can become its owner for $6,995.<\/p>\n

The basis of the new gadget is a full-frame BSI CMOS sensor with a resolution of 60 megapixels.\u00a0According to the company, it will allow you to record video in 1080p at 120 fps, 4K at 60 fps and 8K at 30 fps.\u00a0In all cases, the color depth will be 10 bits.<\/p>\n

The engineers used the proprietary Maestro IV processor, which is responsible for processing the resulting images.\u00a0It is capable of five-axis stabilization with five exposure levels.\u00a0Hybrid focusing is announced, featuring phase\/contrast autofocus with 315 zones.\u00a0The Leica SL3 camera is able to find people in the frame, their faces or, for example, eyes in order to focus on them.\u00a0Representatives of flora and fauna can also become objects of focus.<\/p>\n

The camera is equipped with an electronic viewfinder and an OLED display with a resolution of 5.76 megapixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.\u00a0There is also a small retractable touch screen – it has a diagonal of 3.2 inches and a resolution of 2.33 megapixels.\u00a0Supports work with CFexpress and UHS-II SD memory cards.\u00a0It is possible to connect the camera to third-party gadgets via Wi-Fi wireless connection.\u00a0Dimensions Leica SL3 – 151 \u00d7 108 \u00d7 85 mm, weight – 850 grams.<\/p>\n
