These are the prices at which LG plans to sell TVs at the start of sales.<\/p>\n<p>While there are some great deals in the large-screen QNED LCD segment, it looks like things won&#8217;t be so great for OLED fans in 2024.\u00a0Let&#8217;s look at the OLED series first.\u00a0It&#8217;s worth noting right away that the mid-range LG C4 and premium LG G4 models will be available from the beginning of March.<\/p>\n<h2>OLED TV prices<\/h2>\n<h3>LG G4<\/h3>\n<p>LG OLED97G4 &#8211; $25,000.<br \/>\nLG OLED83G4 &#8211; $6500.<br \/>\nLG OLED77G4 &#8211; $600.<br \/>\nLG OLED65G4 &#8211; $3400.<br \/>\nLG OLED55G4 &#8211; $2600.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\">\n<div id=\"yandex_rtb_R-A-555916-5\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3>LG C4<\/h3>\n<p>LG OLED83C4PUA &#8211; $5400.<br \/>\nLG OLED77C4PUA &#8211; $3700.<br \/>\nLG OLED65C4PUA &#8211; $2700.<br \/>\nLG OLED55C4PUA &#8211; $2000.<br \/>\nLG OLED48C4PUA &#8211; $1600.<br \/>\nLG OLED42C4PUA &#8211; $1500.<\/p>\n<p>The new 97-inch G4 TV is priced particularly attractively because of the extra 14 inches of picture it provides compared to the 83-inch model.\u00a0It is especially worth considering that, unlike other models in the line, there is no 97-inch size.<\/p>\n<p>You should also pay attention to the benefits of LG\u00a0Micro Lens Array\u00a0technology , which increases brightness.\u00a0At the same time, 98-inch LCD TVs began to appear on sale, costing approximately $2,000.\u00a0On the other hand, such TVs have lower specifications.<\/p>\n<p>All other G4 series, with the exception of the 83-inch model, cost $100 more than the starting prices of the 2023 LG G3 models.\u00a0At least the 83-inch model costs the same price as in 2023.\u00a0This is despite the fact that in 2024 this TV received MLA technology for the first time, and the 83-inch G3 did not have MLA.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\">\n<div id=\"yandex_rtb_R-A-555916-6\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This fact makes the LG OLED83G4 a bargain!\u00a0Prices for the C4 series, which as of 2023 do not use MLA technology, also increased by $100 across the board.\u00a0This seems especially surprising considering that unlike the G series, the C series hasn&#8217;t had any major hardware improvements over the last couple of generations.<\/p>\n<p>The new C4 and G4 series models benefit from clearly improved picture processing, a new virtual 11.1.2-channel upmix system and some really useful improvements to their\u00a0webOS 24\u00a0systems .\u00a0But consumers expect that with so little technical improvement each year, OLED prices should drop slightly rather than skyrocket.<\/p>\n<p>The rise in prices is most likely the result of high global inflation over the past year or so, which has impacted supply chains.\u00a0It will be interesting to see if other brands can absorb these inflationary pressures without passing them on to consumers.\u00a0In comparison, for example, with Samsung, the picture looks ambiguous.<\/p>\n<p>The currently announced European prices will increase by 100 euros compared to 2023.\u00a0But US prices appear to be the same as in 2023.\u00a0The flagship OLED S95D models are $100 cheaper than the equivalent LG G4 models.\u00a0However, please note that Samsung US prices are currently released through retailers and not through Samsung&#8217;s official marketing channels.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-3\">\n<div id=\"yandex_rtb_R-A-555916-7\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In the meantime, there is a way for LG OLED fans to offset the price increase in 2024 if they want to get their orders in sooner.\u00a0If you place an order between March 1 and March 17, you can receive a free LG Smart Cam, free installation, and 5% back of the purchase price in the form of \u201cbonus rewards.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-12888\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/techweek.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/techweek.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/2_techweek.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/3_techweek.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/4_techweek.jpg 1404w\" alt=\"Prices for LG QNED TVs\" width=\"700\" height=\"260\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Prices for LG QNED TVs<\/h2>\n<p>As for LG&#8217;s so-called QNED LCD TV line, all models will be available again from the beginning of March.\u00a0At the moment, prices are indicated for two lines: QNED90T and QNED85T.\u00a0The QNED90T uses mini-LED lighting and local dimming, while the QNED85T uses a standard full array with local dimming (\u00a0FALD\u00a0) sets.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-4\">\n<div id=\"yandex_rtb_R-A-555916-8\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Both QNED series are equipped with the new Alpha 8 AI processor, which LG claims delivers 1.3x faster AI performance, 2.3x faster graphics performance, and 1.6x faster processing speed.<\/p>\n<p>The LG 2024 QNED lineup will apparently have a maximum size of 98 inches and will start with a 43-inch TV.\u00a0On the other hand, the pricing information released so far does not include these two most extreme QNED models.\u00a0This is the information we have today.<\/p>\n<h3>LG QNED90T \u2013 Mini LED<\/h3>\n<p>LG 86QNED90TUA &#8211; $1300.<br \/>\nLG 55QNED85TUA &#8211; $1000.<br \/>\nLG 50QNED85TUA &#8211; $850.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-5\">\n<div id=\"yandex_rtb_R-A-555916-9\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>These prices are significantly lower than LG&#8217;s 2024 OLED TVs, especially when compared to the largest screen sizes.\u00a0Although history shows that these models will not be able to offer comparable levels of performance.\u00a0As with OLED TVs, there is a pre-order promotion for the QNED model until March 17th.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12889\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1_techweek.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1_techweek.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/5_techweek.jpg 300w\" alt=\"Soundbar SG10TY\" width=\"700\" height=\"412\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It also includes 5% cash back in rewards, free wall mounting or TV stand installation, and a free LG Smart Cam.\u00a0Another new LG product that has just received official pricing is the SG10TY soundbar, designed for use with G-series OLED TVs.<\/p>\n<p>This new $800 wall-mounted soundbar comes with LG&#8217;s WOWCAST and WOW Orchestra features.\u00a0The first option allows you to receive audio signals, including lossless\u00a0Dolby Atmos\u00a0, wirelessly from compatible LG products.<\/p>\n<p>The second allows the soundbar to share its speakers with G4 TVs.\u00a0As with QNED and OLED TVs, the SG10TY is available for pre-order until March 17th.\u00a0This time around, there&#8217;s a 25% discount available when the soundbar is purchased as a bundle with a 55-inch, 65-inch, or 77-inch G4 TV.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LG has officially announced prices for select series from its 2024 TV lineup.
