{"id":174350,"date":"2023-11-04T12:41:31","date_gmt":"2023-11-04T12:41:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=174350"},"modified":"2023-11-04T12:43:30","modified_gmt":"2023-11-04T12:43:30","slug":"kanto-ora-active-desktop-monitors-unveiled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/speakers\/kanto-ora-active-desktop-monitors-unveiled\/","title":{"rendered":"Kanto ORA: Active Desktop monitors unveiled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Canadian brand\u00a0Kanto Audio\u00a0has introduced compact active speakers\u00a0ORA\u00a0, which, according to the manufacturer, are ideal for music, games and even as monitors for a home studio.\u00a0Measuring just 17.5 x 10 x 14.1 cm, the new Kanto\u00a0ORA\u00a0monitors\u00a0are designed to fit on a desk, either under a monitor or on either side of a laptop.\u00a0A number of optional stands are available for the new product, allowing you to place your monitors vertically or horizontally, as well as at the desired height and angle to suit your requirements.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/28_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kanto ORA monitors are equipped with a 2 cm silk dome tweeter and a 7.5 cm midrange\/woofer with a paper cone.\u00a0The emitters are served by separate amplifiers operating in class D and providing power of 9 W and 16 W, respectively.\u00a0According to Kanto Audio, the resulting 50W RMS power ensures &#8220;clear highs, detailed mids and impressively powerful bass.&#8221;\u00a0At the same time, the manufacturer claims an operating frequency range from 70 Hz to 22 kHz.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/29_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kanto ORA active monitors are equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 adapter for convenient wireless connectivity.\u00a0There&#8217;s also an analog RCA line-in and USB-C port for connecting your PC, mobile phone (now even the iPhone 15!), portable players and more, and supports high-resolution playback up to 24-bit\/96kHz .\u00a0There is also an output for an active subwoofer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/30_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The selected input is indicated by a colored LED &#8211;
