The Marantz\u00a0<\/b>CD 50n<\/b>\u00a0CD player\u00a0is capable of not only playing CDs perfectly (to play SACD discs you will have to choose another model, the SACD 30n), but also working as an external DAC unit and even a network player.\u00a0For integration into a computer network, there is an RJ45 Ethernet port and a Wi-Fi adapter.\u00a0There’s also a full range of digital inputs, including HDMI and USB-B.<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

The Marantz CD 50n is based on the ESS Saber DAC chip with specially designed Marantz digital filters, which, as the manufacturer proudly claims, provide \u201cclear and detailed sound for all digital audio formats.\u201d\u00a0The new product is capable of reproducing material in PCM format with a resolution of up to 32 bit \/ 384 kHz and DSD up to DSD 256. The component supports HEOS wireless multiroom technology, as well as Bluetooth, Spotify Connect and AirPlay 2.<\/p>\n

The ideal partner for the Marantz CD 50n CD player is the new\u00a0Marantz Model 50<\/b>\u00a0integrated amplifier , which is heavily inspired by the Applause Award-winning Marantz Model 40n.\u00a0The output stages of the model are made on proprietary HDAM modules (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) of the latest generation, which operate in class A\/B and provide 70 Watts when operating on a load with a nominal resistance of 8 Ohms for each of the two channels.\u00a0The amplifier’s power supply is based on a powerful toroidal power transformer.<\/p>\n

The Marantz Model 50 integrated amplifier features a built-in phono preamplifier to accommodate moving magnet (MM) cartridges.\u00a0In addition, the switching arsenal of the new product includes five linear inputs on RCA connectors, a pre-amplifier output and a direct power amplifier input, as well as an output to an active subwoofer.\u00a0Four pairs of acoustic terminals are provided for connecting speakers.<\/p>\n
