Although I give it credit, the included balance cable is generous. If you don&#8217;t ask the obvious question: where is the cover? A case with a solid frame? Bag? At least a bag? This is expected for planarians.\u00a0The leatherette ear cushions are soft, but not particularly loose, the headband is self-adjusting, the pressure is not too strong.\u00a0For me, the landing was rather uncomfortable &#8211; the hardness of the base, the pleasant return when touching the strings, the velvety iridescent notes, the elasticity of ringing bursts.\u00a0This variety is limited only by the resolution resource corresponding to the price class, but among its direct competitors, the headphones show a more decent level.\u00a0Their acoustic picture is transparent, saturated, the parts intertwine flexibly and dynamically.\u00a0The melodiousness gently and casually draws you into the musical plot, the coherence of the instruments skilfully conveys the drive, while not tiring with excessive assertiveness.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_173571\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-173571\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-173571 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-42.jpg\" alt=\"Moondrop Venus\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-42.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-42-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-42-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-42-200x113.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-42-770x433.jpg 770w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-173571\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Moondrop Venus<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Despite the model&#8217;s talent for working with small details, the composition here is perceived symmetrically and holistically, which is a plus.\u00a0In fact, I&#8217;m not even used to seeing Moondrop&#8217;s familiar signature style in full-size \u2013 sleek, slightly cool, colorful, ever-so-slightly aesthetic.\u00a0Previously, I heard it exclusively in the company&#8217;s IEMs, but in the new product it is combined with larger images and a wonderful stage.\u00a0Personally, this is a positive experience for me, because the brand&#8217;s approach to sound tuning is close to me.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of tone, Venus is even, neutral, barely illuminated, but, in principle, every part of the range in them has a convincing expressiveness.\u00a0Genre-wise, they are omnivorous, but they are picky about the quality of the material and the potential of the source.\u00a0However, with a successful synergy, you won&#8217;t have to think about upgrading to more expensive headphones for a long time, you will get a very smart device.\u00a0But remember that these are monitors.\u00a0Their analyticalness does not seem overly strict, they compensate for it with a cheerful dynamic, and yet their temperament is direct and honest, and this is not necessary for everyone.<\/p>\n<h3>Frequencies<\/h3>\n<p>The bass is linear, restrained, non-aggressive.\u00a0Their percussiveness is not forced, do not expect a rolling roar from them, but the rhythmic line is read without problems.\u00a0Although I would say that the multi-layered variability characteristic of planarians is not expressed enough here.\u00a0The firmness of the sabu, the composure and the expression of the pancho could also be better.\u00a0But there are no complaints about the depth and control of LF.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-173575\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-45.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"1065\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-45.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-45-300x250.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-45-1024x852.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-45-200x166.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-45-770x641.jpg 770w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The midrange is a trump card.\u00a0Detailed, elegant, airy.\u00a0Their presentation is fast, technical and legible, created for fans of crystallinity, not imposing smoothness.\u00a0The separation of parties is excellent, the contours are clear and distinct.\u00a0The high-frequency sounds are slightly accented to increase emotionality, but they are not over-dried, they do not cut the hearing.\u00a0The atmosphere of each track is revealed vividly and inspired.\u00a0Women&#8217;s vocals are juicy, smooth and trusting, men&#8217;s &#8211; confident and natural.\u00a0The timbres are reliable, devoid of intrusive warm harmonics.\u00a0The width and three-dimensionality of the scene is beautiful, and there is an initial play of vertical holographicity.<\/p>\n<p>High frequencies are sparkling, voluminous and spectacular.\u00a0Articulated, but without synthetic loudness.\u00a0They are characterized by moderate stiffness, there is also a correct delineation, while the palette of overtones is abundant and multifaceted, due to this, you can easily track various attacks.\u00a0For the money, it&#8217;s not bad.\u00a0Music is presented gracefully, with colorful brightness and iridescent shine.\u00a0It&#8217;s really beautiful.\u00a0Among the shortcomings, I felt that the length of the upper HF layers was not enough.\u00a0Well, given that I am the strictest judge of this spectrum, who would doubt it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-173574\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-44.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-44.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-44-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-44-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-44-200x113.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Pasted-44-770x433.jpg 770w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>In the end, I come to an unexpected conclusion &#8211; there are a few issues with the Moondrop Venus in terms of packaging, design and ergonomics, but their sound really makes you forget about it.
