The recently announced portable digital-to-analog converter and headphone amplifier\u00a0Shanling UA4\u00a0is built on the latest chip from\u00a0ESS Saber\u00a0–\u00a0ES9069Q\u00a0.\u00a0This is the first device on the market to use this chip.<\/p>\n

The amplifier section uses two\u00a0Ricore RT6863\u00a0op-amps , providing up to\u00a0211 mW\u00a0of power at 32 ohms at a balanced\u00a04.4 mm\u00a0output .\u00a0The model also has an unbalanced 3.5 mm\u00a0minijack output\u00a0.\u00a0On the front panel there is a 0.87-inch\u00a0display\u00a0that displays the volume level, the filter used and the type of signal being played back.\u00a0Physical keys for playback control and menu navigation are located on the side panel.\u00a0The model is available in gray and silver housings and supports the\u00a0UAC1.0\u00a0profile for compatibility with\u00a0Nintendo Swtich\u00a0.<\/p>\n
