{"id":171112,"date":"2023-10-11T14:12:14","date_gmt":"2023-10-11T13:12:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=171112"},"modified":"2023-10-18T05:54:09","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T04:54:09","slug":"sonus-faber-duetto-wireless-speaker-systems-with-streaming-functions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/speakers\/sonus-faber-duetto-wireless-speaker-systems-with-streaming-functions\/","title":{"rendered":"Sonus Faber Duetto: Wireless speaker systems with streaming functions"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"news__content\" data-v-b1286792=\"\">\n<div data-v-b1286792=\"\">\n<p>The trend towards active wireless speaker systems being released by traditional speaker manufacturers is gaining momentum.\u00a0<b>By introducing the Duetto<\/b>\u00a0model\u00a0, Italian audio legend\u00a0<b>Sonus\u00a0<\/b><b>Faber<\/b>\u00a0joined the trend .\u00a0<b>Sonus\u00a0<\/b><b>Faber\u00a0<\/b><b>Duetto<\/b>\u00a0speaker systems\u00a0give classic bookshelf speakers the ability to stream music via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.<b><\/b><b><\/b><b><\/b><b><\/b><b><\/b><b><\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Duetto uses Sonus Faber&#8217;s signature lute-shaped wooden cabinets, but the specially designed heatsinks on the rear panel hint that these are no ordinary speakers.\u00a0The speaker systems are implemented in a two-way concept with a 0.7-inch silk dome tweeter and a 5.25-inch midrange driver with a paper pulp cone.\u00a0The driver is housed in Sonus Faber&#8217;s new &#8220;organic basket&#8221;, which has been designed to reduce vibration and facilitate the airflow generated by the speaker.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/70_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Sonus Faber Duetto Wireless Speaker Systems\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"news__content\" data-v-b1286792=\"\">\n<div data-v-b1286792=\"\">\n<p>Each speaker has two amplifiers &#8211; the tweeter is served by a 100 Watt amplifier operating in class A\/B, and the mid-range driver is powered by a 205 W class D amplifier &#8211; hence the impressive radiators on the rear.<\/p>\n<p>On the top wall of one of the speakers of the pair there is a Senso touch panel, through which you can control the volume, select the active input and make other settings.\u00a0You can also use the Sonus Faber proprietary application for mobile gadgets for control.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/71_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Sonus Faber Duetto Wireless Speaker Systems\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-inpage inpage-banner\" data-v-6be0a101=\"\" data-v-b1286792=\"\">\n<div id=\"adfox_inpage_desktop_87290886\" data-v-6be0a101=\"\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"adfox_inpage_mobile_56273118\" data-v-6be0a101=\"\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"news__content\" data-v-b1286792=\"\">\n<div data-v-b1286792=\"\">\n<p>The Sonus Faber Duetto&#8217;s switching arsenal includes an\u00a0HDMI ARC\u00a0port, an optical digital input and a pair of RCA connectors, the purpose of which can be selected &#8211;
