It offers what the common user is looking for without leaving anything out and, yes, introducing some more than pleasant details that few televisions of this price have.

Design and connectivity

The image below shows very faithfully what the design of the model is like, making it clear which are its most aesthetically notable points. I’m talking about its lower frame for which the color silver has been chosen and its ultra-thin central base in the purest monitor style.

Nice and modern design of the television

For the rest, it is black (with a glossy finish on the rectangular stand), lacking the other three frames, really pleasing to the eye , something that I always like to highlight in models that are not high-end.

The measurements of the Panasonic 50MX710E are 704 x 1119 x 221 mm and its weight is 14 kilograms . But as we are already very used to seeing, you can remove the support from the television and only use the panel. In that case we are left with 647 x 1119 x 68 mm and 10.5 kg on the wall. For this, obviously, you will need a device compatible with the holes on the television, which are VESA 200 x 200 mm .

Tuning and connectivity

Zero problems with the tuning of the Panasonic TX-50MX710. Because? It comes with everything you need and more. This is full analog and digital systems and HbbTV and CI+ ECP in 2.0.2 and 1.4 respectively.

On the back of the television we discover, facing to the right and backwards, the physical connectors it consists of. These are two USB ports in 2.0, three inputs for HDMI that reach 2.1, a 3.5 mm plug, CI slot, RJ 45 plug, optical digital audio output and R and IEC antenna plugs.

Connectors on the right and back

I don’t forget the wireless, which is, once again, a WiFI 5 and a good addition with Bluetooth to multiply the options of your television.

Image quality and general functions

Panasonic TX-50MX710E integrates 125.7 cm diagonal (50 inches) VA LCD panel . Its resolution is UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) while for backlighting the firm has opted for edge LED .

Its 4K Color Engine processor together with a 30-bit matrix and a panel color depth of 8 + 2 bits allow us to discover the famous “more than a billion colors”.

Regarding frequency we stay at the basics, 50 Hz . However, so that the image is balanced in terms of color, contrast and brightness, for movement it is also provided with 1400 units of Panasonic’s frame interpolation technology. In addition, the model is compatible with ALLM and VRR functionalities , so we will always have the most optimal result in this regard.

Panasonic 50MX710E has a simple but quite good image

We won’t finish without telling you that the television plays Dolby Vision content in addition to the now classic HDR 10 and HLG . In addition, it spices up the images by being able to choose up to 6 modes .

Audio

Something very interesting about the Panasonic TX-50MX710E and why I would opt for it over other similar ones is that it reproduces sound in Dolby Atmos quality . It doesn’t have an impressive surround as we would love, but it is more than what most devices include for its price.

I also find it very positive and, in fact, even curious, that it has so many sound modes (13). With this, without a doubt, the challenges when listening to both contents multiply.

Equally numerous are the audio formats that the model recognizes. Included are .ra, .ogg, .dts, .flac, mp3, .mpg, .mpeg, .mka, .rm, .rmvb, .3gpp, .3gp, .avi, .asf, .wmv, .divx, . mkv, .mp4, .mov, .m4a, .ts, .trp, .tp, .mts, .ac4, .m2ts, .dat, .vob,, .ogm, .ac3, .ec3, .aac, .wav , .webm, .flv and .wav.

In terms of power, the speakers are a classic that makes up a 20 W RMS 2.0 system .

Panasonic TX-50MX710 software/smartTV analysis

Preview of the Panasonic TX-50MX710 with Google TV

Panasonic TX-50MX710E returns, as so many times, with an Android system that is personalized, to change its appearance a little for the user, with Google TV .; a classic already in Panasonic .

It is more than known that by working with Google, its TV services are taken advantage of and integrated. On this television we will find:

Play Store Store . As on mobile, you will have the Play Store software store. It currently includes, by far, the largest number of applications, both for phones and, in this case, for smart TVs.

Chromecast . Google’s famous and simple mirroring system is also at your disposal. In the model it works very quickly once your tablets or smartphones are linked, automatically giving you the option of launching the content on the TV or, conversely, of taking control of it from your mobile devices.

Google Assistant . Unlike on other occasions, for this model a single voice assistant option is integrated (in other models we can also use Alexa). Even so, the operation is exactly the same and the results too. You talk to him to ask him for information or to take actions and he obeys; perfect for managing the TV much faster!

This model does not have a native browser but, much to the taste of the user, who uses it more and more, you can download any that is available in the Google store; That’s how quickly this “problem” is solved and you can choose to your liking. You have a 1000-page teletext, voice guidance, EPG, multimedia player (with the possibility of downloading any other ) , 35 languages for menus, HDAVI control.

Panasonic TX-50MX710E Specifications:

<div class="wpsm-table
