The flagship Focal Trio6 ST6 studio monitor\u00a0uses\u00a0an 8-inch woofer with a proprietary W-cone cone, a 5-inch midrange with Tuned Mass Damper technology and an improved large 1.5-inch beryllium tweeter.\u00a0The new monitor has a lower frequency limit of 35 Hz, the midrange operates at frequencies up to 10 kHz, and the tweeter with a Truextent foil membrane from Materion is capable of reaching a height of up to 40 kHz.<\/p>\n

The Trio6 ST6 model received the most comprehensive version of proprietary focusing, which operates in three modes.\u00a0In single-band mode, only the mid frequencies of the monitor are active; in two-way mode, the mids and tweeter are active.\u00a0Accordingly, all three speakers are used in full-range mode.\u00a0Switching occurs with one click on the foot switch.<\/p>\n
