The company’s first tonearm with blade bearings represents a major upgrade over the base TP92 model.\u00a0Thorens TP 160\u00a0received a 9-inch aluminum tube and an SME connector for installing a removable headset.\u00a0Magnetic stabilizers are additionally installed in the bearing block to ensure smooth movement.<\/p>\n

\"Tonearm<\/p>\n

The tonearm provides the user with everything needed for fine tuning, including base height adjustment to adjust vertical tracking angle (VTA) and stylus approach angle (SRA), as well as azimuth.\u00a0The level of anti-skating is set by a traditional spring-based system, and a calibrated counterweight allows you to install even heavy cartridge heads weighing up to 30 grams on the tonearm.<\/p>\n
