{"id":168717,"date":"2023-09-12T18:12:36","date_gmt":"2023-09-12T17:12:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=168717"},"modified":"2023-10-18T05:55:34","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T04:55:34","slug":"grundig-unveils-new-nano-qled-tv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/tv\/grundig-unveils-new-nano-qled-tv\/","title":{"rendered":"Grundig unveils new Nano QLED TV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At\u00a0<i>IFA 2023<\/i>\u00a0, which recently concluded in Berlin, home appliances and electronics brand\u00a0Grundig\u00a0launched its new premium TV,\u00a0the Nano QLED GH 8700\u00a0.\u00a0And in November the new product will arrive in the stores of\u00a0<i>the M.Video<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>Eldorado<\/i>\u00a0retail chains .<\/p>\n<p>Breathtaking pictures, rich sound and ease of use \u2013 with the Nano QLED GH 8700 TVs, Grundig offers a new level of immersion in content.\u00a0The new product is the successor to the popular Grundig GGU 8960 model, which, in addition to an expanded color range, featured expressive sound, developed in collaboration with ELAC.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/121_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The model&#8217;s screen uses quantum dot technology with support for more than a billion shades of colors in 4K Ultra HD resolution and a display refresh rate of 120 Hz.\u00a0The Nano QLED model is available in two diagonals: 55 and 65 inches.\u00a0The new TV is the first Grundig model to feature Quantum Dot LED (QLED) backlight technology, resulting in vibrant and natural colors with deep black levels and high contrast.\u00a0With 4K Ultra HD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), screen images are crisp and detailed, and HD and Full HD content is automatically upscaled to 4K Ultra HD.<\/p>\n<p>The Nano QLED GH 8700 TV supports wide color gamut and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ standards for superior, high-contrast images.\u00a0Dolby Vision IQ adjusts the brightness of a movie scene to match the lighting conditions in the room &#8211; the image becomes brighter in bright environments and darkens in dark ones.\u00a0This means that no image detail will be lost.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/122_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The frame refresh rate in the Nano QLED GH 8700 model is 120 Hertz.\u00a0This ensures clear and smooth movements in the frame even when viewing dynamic scenes, fast shooting and sports broadcasts.\u00a0The TV supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).\u00a0These technologies are especially important for gamers, as VRR and ALLM provide the best gaming experience by adapting to the capabilities of your gaming console.<\/p>\n<p>A special \u201cFilmmaker mode\u201d ensures that users can enjoy films and TV series the way the director intended &#8211; without additional enhancements such as motion smoothing, soap opera effect, noise reduction, sharpening and additional adjustments to areas of the image. And all this can be configured in one click.
