In anticipation of the upcoming release of the Android 14 operating system, developers from Google decided to rebrand Android so that the visual style of the system is fully consistent with the appearance and functionality of the mobile OS.\u00a0It is worth noting that the last time a major rebranding was done by Google four years ago, so at the moment the Android brand really looked a little outdated.<\/p>\n

But now the search giant’s designers have completely changed the font of the logo, making it softer and more modern – this is especially noticeable on the letters “r” and “n”, plus now it uses an uppercase letter “A” instead of lowercase letters, as before.<\/p>\n

Naturally, the rebranding did not bypass the Bugdroid mascot either – four years ago, as part of the previous rebranding, the Android mascot first became part of the official logo of the operating system, and now it has been significantly updated, making it more recognizable.<\/p>\n

Moreover, now Bugdroid is not two-dimensional, but three-dimensional, and it has many design variations – in addition to the classic green \u201cdroid\u201d, there are about a dozen different designs that are likely to be used in the operating system.\u00a0However, users will not be able to see the fresh Android brand right away – Google said that the rebranding will be launched on devices only before the end of this year, that is, closer to the potential release of Android 14 and Pixel 8.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
