Bryston has introduced the new\u00a0Bryston BP-19\u00a0preamplifier\u00a0, born from years of research and development and design innovations that have been developed for the BR-20 preamplifier.<\/p>\n

The Bryston BP-19 preamplifier is handcrafted in Canada and comes with a 20 year manufacturer’s warranty.\u00a0The novelty is equipped with a powerful toroidal power transformer and carefully selected premium components, which allows to achieve a low THD value, which does not exceed 0.0006%.<\/p>\n

The preamp has a fully balanced architecture from input to output and is equipped with an advanced volume control.\u00a0The switching arsenal includes two pairs of balanced analog inputs on XLR connectors and four pairs of RCA input connectors.\u00a0For connection to a power amplifier or active speakers, two pairs of unbalanced RCA outputs and two pairs of balanced XLR outputs are provided, moreover, in each version, one pair is linear and one is adjustable.<\/p>\n

With the BP-19, for the first time, Bryston offers the BP-2 Moving Magnet (MM) phono stage as a built-in option.\u00a0Bryston also offers custom made step up transformers for moving coil (MC) cartridges as an option.<\/p>\n

Many functions of the Bryston BP-19 preamplifier can be controlled using the included infrared remote control.\u00a0Each of the six analog inputs has corresponding buttons on the remote control as well as on the front panel of the preamp.\u00a0Hexadecimal codes are also available for use with the universal remote control.\u00a0The BP-19 can be controlled remotely via RS232 or IP when connected to the smart home ecosystem via the RS232 or Ethernet ports on the rear panel.\u00a0The BP-19 can also be remotely turned on or put into standby, and the trigger outputs can be used to turn on\/off other connected equipment such as a power amp.<\/p>\n

The Bryston BP-19 preamplifier is available in five standard bezel finishes in 17″ or 19″ widths.\u00a0Mounting brackets are also available to mount the component in a standard 19-inch rack.\u00a0In addition, Bryston offers custom faceplate finishes for the BP-19 and other electronics such as amplifiers, preamps, CD players, digital players, phono stages and DACs.\u00a0Choose from standard colors or create a custom finish to match any room design.<\/p>\n
