{"id":167184,"date":"2023-08-09T08:57:37","date_gmt":"2023-08-09T07:57:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=167184"},"modified":"2023-10-18T05:55:44","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T04:55:44","slug":"honor-magicbook-x-14-pro-and-honor-magicbook-x-16-pro-laptops-introduced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/laptops\/honor-magicbook-x-14-pro-and-honor-magicbook-x-16-pro-laptops-introduced\/","title":{"rendered":"Honor MagicBook X 14 Pro and Honor MagicBook X 16 Pro laptops introduced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Honor has announced new laptops.\u00a0These models are: Honor MagicBook X 14 Pro and Honor MagicBook X 16 Pro.\u00a0The new laptops received a high-performance Ryzen 7 7840HS processor with 8 cores and 8 MB of second-level cache, as well as a frequency of 3.8 GHz.<\/p>\n<p>This is a fairly powerful chip that should provide laptops with ample opportunities in terms of performance &#8211; it contains the AMD Radeon 780M video core based on the RDNA 3 architecture, which uses 12 execution units.\u00a0The core operates at a frequency of up to 2800 MHz.\u00a0This chip, according to tests, provides the ability to run a number of advanced games at medium settings with an acceptable frame rate per second.\u00a0This means that laptops should also show good performance in specialized programs for photographers and videographers.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-280291\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/5_techweek.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"780\" height=\"506\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Both models of new devices have a display resolution of 1920 \u00d7 1200 pixels.<\/p>\n<p>The equipment includes 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD.\u00a0The operating time on a single charge is 13.5 hours.\u00a0And the older model has 11.8 hours.\u00a0The laptop comes with a 65W charger.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-280292\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/54_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"593\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Honor MagicBook X 14 Pro and Honor MagicBook X 16 Pro laptops received two M.2 slots for SSD, equipped with fingerprint scanners that are integrated into the power key.\u00a0Also in laptop cases there is an HDMI video output and a USB port.<\/p>\n<p>The thickness and weight of the model with a 14-inch display is 16.5 mm and 1.4 kg.\u00a0Honor&#8217;s 16-inch laptop is 17.9mm thick and weighs 1.75kg.\u00a0The MagicBook X 14 Pro costs $580, the Honor MagicBook X 16 Pro costs $610.<\/p>\n<p>This laptop received one important distinguishing feature &#8211; a rare 2-in-1 form factor.
