Neodio TMA has neither a remote control nor a display. The front panel is decorated with only the input selector and volume control. Stefan is confident that this minimalist approach allows Neodio to focus on design and build quality, and most importantly, sound quality.

It took three years to develop the Neodio TMA integrated amplifier, from the initial idea to the production of the first series. Behind the seeming simplicity of TMA lies many important electronic, mechanical and wiring components. French and European subcontractors have been selected to achieve the highest sound quality and are meticulous in their work. Mechanical parts, electronic board, assembly and packaging are made in France. And, for example, a power transformer comes from Spain.

The Neodio TMA integrated amplifier delivers 80W of output power per channel with an operating frequency range of 1Hz to 400kHz. It uses a classic three stage negative feedback architecture. Stefan notes: “Negative feedback is a very effective solution if you pay close attention to the details of its implementation. It took me three years to achieve the result I had hoped for. Dynamic, controlled sound typical of negative feedback, but without the harshness and unnaturalness often associated with this technology.”

The Neodio TMA power supply uses a 300VA low-noise toroidal transformer and a Vishay capacitor bank with a total capacity of 44,000uF. The steel chassis rests on three Delrin anti-vibration mounts. The volume and input selector knobs are made from solid aluminum. Internal wiring is made with branded Neodio Fractal 8 cables (8 insulated copper strands, twisted in a pseudo-random way and covered with cotton).

The Neodio TMA integrated amplifier is supplied without a power cable –
