The speaker has replaced the popular Sasha DAW model in the company&#8217;s range.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/280_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Sasha V speakers are relatively compact by Wilson Audio standards at 120cm tall and weighing 111.13kg each.\u00a0Traditionally, the novelty is made in a two-section modular design with low-frequency speakers in the lower module and mid-frequency and high-frequency radiators in the upper case.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/281_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The handcrafted\u00a0Wilson\u00a0Audio\u00a0Sasha\u00a0V\u00a0uses proprietary\u00a0<i>X\u00a0<\/i><i>&#8211;\u00a0<\/i><i>Material<\/i>\u00a0,\u00a0<i>S\u00a0<\/i><i>&#8211;\u00a0<\/i><i>Material<\/i>\u00a0, and\u00a0<i>V\u00a0<\/i><i>&#8211;\u00a0<\/i><i>Material<\/i>\u00a0, as well as less arcane but high-quality carbon, aerospace-grade aluminum and stainless steel components.<i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/282_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wilson Audio Sasha V speakers feature the\u00a0<i>Convergent\u00a0<\/i><i>Synergy\u00a0<\/i><i>Carbon<\/i>\u00a0(CSC) tweeter, first used in the Wilson Alexx V model. and accurate reproduction of high frequency harmonics.<i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>The mid-range is handled by a 7&#8243; Wilson\u00a0<\/i><i>AlNiCo\u00a0<\/i><i>QuadraMag<\/i>\u00a0driver\u00a0, designed to create a wide soundstage at mid frequencies, to which the human ear is most sensitive.\u00a0Previously available in the Wilson Chronosonic XVX, Alexx V and Alexia V models, this driver has also become an integral part of the Sasha V speakers.<i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/283_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>According to the manufacturer, the internal brace of the Sasha V cabinet is milled from X-material, as are the side walls of the cabinet, as well as the top treble\/midrange module.\u00a0Wilson Audio reports that the latest version of the X-material is 25% thicker than the one used in the Sasha DAW model.\u00a0It is said that this made it possible to increase the strength of the case and, as a result, increase its inertia and reduce resonances.<\/p>\n<p>To isolate the tweeter\/midrange module from the bass driver cabinet, the Sasha V uses V-material, first used on the Alexx V and Alexia V models. .<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/284_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The front wall of the upper module, on which the QuadraMag tweeter and midrange driver are mounted, is made of Wilson Audio&#8217;s proprietary S-material.\u00a0The use of this material, according to the company, forms a very stable and low-resonance contact surface for the midrange driver, which has a beneficial effect on sound quality.<\/p>\n<p>The Sasha V crossovers use specially selected in-house components, including capacitors manufactured by Wilson Audio&#8217;s Capacitor Manufacturing Department (Reliable Capacitors).\u00a0Wilson Audio believes that the use of circuit boards for crossovers degrades the sound, so the Sasha V uses point-to-point point-to-point wiring.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/285_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The operating range of the Sasha V speakers from Wilson Audio extends from 20 Hz to 32 kHz (+\/- 3 dB).\u00a0It has a sensitivity of 88dB @ 1W @ 1m @ 1kHz and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms with a minimum of 2.36 ohms at 82Hz.\u00a0That is, the selection of muscular reinforcement for Sasha V will have to be given special attention.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson\u00a0Audio\u00a0Sasha\u00a0V\u00a0speakers\u00a0are already available for order.\u00a0In the UK, the novelty in the base trim is offered for\u00a053,998 pounds\u00a0for a pair of speakers.<\/p>\n<h3>Wilson Audio Sasha V Specifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Type\u00a0:\u00a0floor-standing three-way speakers<\/li>\n<li>Drivers:\u00a01&#8243;
