The Finnish company Genelec<\/b>\u00a0decided to celebrate its 45th anniversary with the release of the top-end active monitor\u00a0Genelec 8381A<\/b>\u00a0.\u00a0This is a speaker system, the main purpose of which is to work in recording studios.<\/p>\n

However, the manufacturer’s recommendations also indicate the possibility of using the novelty at home for listening to music – according to Genelec experts, the Genelec 8381A monitors are \u201cideal for tasks with high sound pressure levels in medium and large recording, mixing and mastering studios, as well as for the most demanding users to listen to music with high fidelity.”<\/p>\n

To optimize the sound of the monitors for the specific acoustic conditions of the listening room, the Genelec 8381A features Smart Active Monitoring (SAM)<\/i>\u00a0technology and uses the\u00a0Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM)<\/i>\u00a0software\u00a0, interacting with which, the SAM system intelligently adapts the sound of the monitors to the characteristics of the room.<\/p>\n

This provides greater flexibility to operate even in the most difficult conditions.<\/p>\n
