The speaker is based on the proprietary SCALEAX coaxial driver , produced by Schetl from components from three different European companies.<\/p>\n<p>The range below 3 kHz is reproduced by a 12-inch paper cone with a balanced directivity and a moving mass of only 32 grams, which allows you to work so high.\u00a0Above this mark, a 1.7-inch quasi-constant directivity horn-style titanium diaphragm compression driver, mounted in the center of the driver, takes over.<i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/111_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>PATHWAY\u00a0is a passive two-way loudspeaker made in two insulated cabinets stacked on top of each other.\u00a0The SCALEAX coaxial speaker is located in the top cabinet and operates in the full audio range.\u00a0At the bottom is a 12-inch low-frequency driver, similar to SCALEAX with a light cone and a powerful magnet system, but without a tweeter.\u00a0It supports the range below 250Hz.\u00a0Speaker sensitivity is 96 dB, which makes this model an organic partner for tube single-ended amplifiers.<\/p>\n<p>The passive crossover is housed in a plinth in an isolated volume and uses a first-order filter for the bass section and a second-order filter to separate the mids and highs.\u00a0The components used in the crossover are of very high quality, selected through careful auditions.\u00a0The crossover is equipped with switches with which you can adjust the frequency response in accordance with the acoustic characteristics of the room.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/112_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The speaker cabinets are made of premium quality beech plywood, which, combined with internal stiffening ribs, makes the construction extremely durable and resistant to vibrations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Schetl\u00a0Bridgeway\u00a0speakers\u00a0are available in real wood veneer finishes.\u00a0Choose from Elm, European Walnut and Wenge veneer.\u00a0In addition, there are options with black and white piano lacquer finishes.<\/p>\n<h3>Schetl Bridgeway speaker specifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Speakers:\u00a012&#8243; paper cone woofer driver, LF\/MF\/HF 12&#8243; paper cone SCALEAX coaxial driver with horn-mounted 1.7&#8243; titanium diaphragm compression tweeter<\/li>\n<li>Highrange\u00a0horn material\u00a0:\u00a0high density composite polymer<\/li>\n<li>Sensitivity:\u00a094.5&#8230;96 dB (at 1W\/1m) depending on BS setting<\/li>\n<li>Recommended room area:\u00a030&#8230;100 sq.\u00a0m.<\/li>\n<li>Recommended Amplifier Power:\u00a0&gt;10W<\/li>\n<li>Rated impedance:\u00a08 ohm<\/li>\n<li>Single speaker dimensions (H\u00a0x\u00a0W\u00a0x\u00a0D):\u00a01097 x 408 x 470 mm<\/li>\n<li>Single column weight:\u00a062 kg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the annual High\u00a0End\u00a0Show\u00a02023 opening today in Munich, the young company Schetl will present its first Schetl Bridgeway loudspeakers .
