{"id":159010,"date":"2023-03-21T16:35:57","date_gmt":"2023-03-21T16:35:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=159010"},"modified":"2023-10-18T06:08:27","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T05:08:27","slug":"luxman-launches-new-flagship-preamplifier-c-10x","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/hi-fi\/luxman-launches-new-flagship-preamplifier-c-10x\/","title":{"rendered":"Luxman launches new flagship preamplifier C-10X"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Luxman<\/b>\u00a0has introduced a new pre-amplifier\u00a0<b>Luxman C-10X<\/b>\u00a0, which replaced the C-900u model released in 2013 in the company&#8217;s nomenclature.\u00a0The preamplifier will be included in the anniversary series of Luxman components, dedicated to the centenary of the company in 2025.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/315_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Luxman C-10X preamplifier incorporates all of the company&#8217;s latest know-how.\u00a0This includes the latest version of ODNF-u (Only Distortion Negative Feedback-ultimate) technology, named LIFES 1.0 in 2021, and the new LECUA-EX 192-step electronically controlled attenuator in the volume control circuit, which minimizes sound degradation, especially at low volume levels.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/316_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Luxman C-10X preamp has a fully balanced concept &#8211; from balanced input to balanced output.\u00a0The component is equipped with a switchable tone block with treble and bass controls, as well as a channel balance control.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/317_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The switching arsenal of the Luxman C-10X preamplifier is strictly analog.\u00a0There are three balanced stereo inputs on Neutrik quality XLR connectors and three unbalanced RCA ones.\u00a0The component offers two stereo analog outputs &#8211; balanced on XLR and unbalanced on RCA.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/318_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>The Luxman C-10X<\/b>\u00a0preamp\u00a0is offered in a single\u00a0<i>Blaster\u00a0<\/i><i>White<\/i> design .
