{"id":158977,"date":"2023-03-20T18:03:23","date_gmt":"2023-03-20T18:03:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=158977"},"modified":"2023-10-18T06:08:29","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T05:08:29","slug":"kenko-tokina-unveils-ultra-compact-pieni-ii-camera","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/photo\/kenko-tokina-unveils-ultra-compact-pieni-ii-camera\/","title":{"rendered":"Kenko Tokina unveils ultra compact Pieni II camera"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kenko Tokina has unveiled<strong>\u00a0Pieni II<\/strong>\u00a0, an ultra-compact toy camera with a 1.3MP sensor in a cute retro style,especially for\u00a0CP+ 2023 .<\/p>\n<p>The design of the Pieni II is reminiscent of some Leica or Fujifilm cameras, but much smaller of course.\u00a0Inside the device is a tiny 1\/10-inch 1.3-megapixel CMOS sensor that allows you to take photos (at 1280 x 1024), video (720p) and record sound.\u00a0The selected shooting mode is indicated by a small LED in the viewfinder.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"zoom \" title=\"Pieni II\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/307_techweek.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Pieni II\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/307_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"920\" height=\"518\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Measuring just 5.1 cm wide, 3.6 cm high and 1.8 cm thick, the camera is arguably one of the most compact on the market.\u00a0Moreover, it is surprisingly light &#8211; only 18 grams.<\/p>\n<p>The manufacturer writes that the device\u00a0<i>&#8220;produces images reminiscent of watercolors and oil paintings&#8221;<\/i>\u00a0, that is &#8211; calling it by its proper name &#8211;
