In the new version of the popular Google Camera application, developers have made improvements to the Night Sight function.\u00a0Despite the fact that it is designed for Pixel smartphones, the application can be installed on other devices and get great photos even on those smartphones that, due to their hardware capabilities, cannot boast of high-quality images.<\/p>\n

The current Google Camera update, index 8.8, is for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro models.\u00a0The Night Sight function itself was first introduced in 2018, this is a special shooting mode that allows you to take great photos in low light conditions.\u00a0This is achieved by creating and combining several shots (bracketing), while maintaining clarity and brightening the scene.\u00a0Machine learning algorithms are responsible for everything.\u00a0Google notes that photos using the Night Sight feature have less blur since the shutter speed has been halved.\u00a0Updates to HDR+ bracketing and new ML methods for noise reduction.\u00a0Thus, this mode requires half the time to create clear and beautiful photos in low light.<\/p>\n

Users now have the ability to select exposure time, which means Night Sight can now work faster<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After updating the application, users will notice a circle in the lower right corner when they go to the Night Sight tab.\u00a0It allows you to select the exposure time from 2 to 6 seconds, depending on the shooting conditions.\u00a0Essentially, Google now gives you the option to choose between a faster Night Sight mode or a longer exposure time to improve image quality.<\/p>\n

The developers have not yet begun the wide rollout of Google Camera 8.8 through Google Play, but this version of the application is already available for download.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
