{"id":154851,"date":"2023-02-06T17:01:46","date_gmt":"2023-02-06T17:01:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=154851"},"modified":"2023-02-06T17:11:30","modified_gmt":"2023-02-06T17:11:30","slug":"zeiler-audio-unveils-pr-01-and-pa-01-tube-amplifiers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/hi-fi\/zeiler-audio-unveils-pr-01-and-pa-01-tube-amplifiers\/","title":{"rendered":"Zeiler Audio unveils PR-01 and PA-01 Tube amplifiers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Zeiler Audio<\/b>\u00a0has unveiled the\u00a0<b>PR-01 preamplifier and the\u00a0<\/b><b>PA-01<\/b>\u00a0stereo power amplifier powered\u00a0by KT150 tubes.\u00a0So far, these two components make up the entire model range of the company.\u00a0The amplifiers are assembled by hand at the Zeiler Audio factory in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/77_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The cabinets of the PR-01 and PA-01 amplifiers are CNC-milled from solid billet aluminum to form a sturdy chassis.\u00a0The outer walls of the case are sandblasted, anodized, after which a ceramic coating is applied to them.\u00a0Both components feature advanced power supplies mounted on a suspended sub-chassis to mechanically isolate them from the audio circuitry.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/78_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Lundahl input and output transformers galvanically isolate the preamplifier circuit, and the power amplifier uses Lundahl C-core output transformers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/79_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The amplifying stages of the Zeiler Audio PR-01 preamplifier are based on a pair of 12AX7\/ECC83 double triodes and operate in pure class A.
