Danish brand\u00a0Raidho<\/b>\u00a0, owned by\u00a0Dantax\u00a0<\/i>A\u00a0<\/i>\/\u00a0<\/i>S<\/i>\u00a0, has updated the popular X2 floorstanding speaker system, which received the t suffix in the name.\u00a0The new\u00a0Raidho\u00a0<\/b>X\u00a0<\/b>2\u00a0<\/b>t<\/b>\u00a0speakers use technologies and solutions developed for loudspeakers in the higher price segment.\u00a0For example, the ribbon tweeter here is almost the same as the RaidhoTD6, which cost 210 thousand euros.\u00a0The manufacturer claims that the X2t model is a significant improvement over the previous X2 model, which it replaces.<\/i><\/i><\/i><\/i><\/b><\/b><\/b><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

The Raidho X2t is a pair of compact and elegant floorstanding speakers, inspired by the X1t monitors first shown at the 2022 Munich trade fair.\u00a0The manufacturer claims that “X2t do everything that the compact X1t, only at a higher level.”\u00a0For example, Raidho X2t is equipped with a pair of low-frequency drivers that provide a more fundamental sound.<\/p>\n

The 5.25″ woofer cones are tantalum coated.\u00a0Tantalum belongs to a class of metals known as refractory, which are highly resistant to heat and wear.\u00a0Tantalum has a melting point of 2996\u00b0C, which is the fourth highest among all metals.\u00a0Using this material makes the cone much stiffer and firmer without adding weight.<\/p>\n

Raidho’s patented signature ribbon tweeter is entirely designed and handcrafted in Denmark.\u00a0This is a planar driver with 11 micron foil, which is fifty times lighter than the weight of the dome tweeter membrane.\u00a0This emitter is capable of working with signals up to 82 kHz.<\/p>\n

Other differences between the X2t model and the X2 include improved components in the crossover and Nordost internal wiring.\u00a0Also in the novelty, new supports with improved vibration isolation properties are used.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Raidho\u00a0<\/b>X\u00a0<\/b>2\u00a0<\/b>t<\/b>\u00a0is available in two base finishes –\u00a0black piano lacquer<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Birdseye\u00a0<\/i>maple veneer<\/i>\u00a0.\u00a0These options will cost 14 thousand euros<\/b>\u00a0in Europe\u00a0for a pair of speakers.\u00a0In addition, as an option for an additional fee, the manufacturer offers finishing of cases in any color by prior order.<\/b><\/b><\/b><\/b><\/i><\/i><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
