Swedish company\u00a0Primare<\/b>\u00a0announces that\u00a0I\u00a0<\/b>15\u00a0<\/b>Prisma<\/b>\u00a0integrated amplifiers (both original version and MK2 version),\u00a0I\u00a0<\/b>25\u00a0<\/b>Prisma<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0I\u00a0<\/b>35\u00a0<\/b>Prisma have received\u00a0<\/b>Roon\u00a0<\/b>Ready<\/b>\u00a0certification\u00a0from Roon Labs.\u00a0Roon Ready functionality will become available on these models with a system firmware update.\u00a0The new firmware version dated January 23, 2023 will be automatically downloaded and installed on any Internet-connected integrated amplifier I15 Prisma, I25 Prisma and I35 Prisma.<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

In order to make sure that the software version is up to date, you need to go to the Prisma branded application to the\u00a0\u201cSettings \/ Information \/ System Information\u201d<\/i>\u00a0tab and check the firmware versions on the connected device:<\/p>\n

If the update does not happen automatically, it is recommended to start it manually by selecting\u00a0“Reboot”<\/i>\u00a0in the settings menu or turn off and then turn on the power of the device using the switch on the rear panel.\u00a0Restarting will force the Prisma to perform a full system check, including checking for new firmware updates, which will be installed automatically.\u00a0Restarting and updating the software can take up to ten minutes – during this time the device can not be used.\u00a0If for some reason the restart process is interrupted, you need to restart the device again.<\/p>\n

When using the new firmware, an error in Bluetooth operation may occur, leading to loss of connection after the device is rebooted.\u00a0To re-establish the connection, it is recommended to enable playback via Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Roon Ready or AirPlay.\u00a0The next software update will fix this error.<\/p>\n

The SC15 Prisma and PRE35 Prisma will soon be Roon Ready, followed by the CD15 Prisma and CD35 Prisma, and then the SP25 Prisma and SPA25 Prisma.<\/p>\n

Roon is a multi-room networked audio platform that fully meets the high audiophile standards with its versatility.\u00a0Roon has features such as bit-perfect playback and high resolution support for DSD and PCM formats.<\/p>\n

With updated firmware, Prisma has full control over RAAT (Roon Advanced Audio Transport), allowing full use of Roon’s sophisticated software to control digital music playback.<\/p>\n
