Renowned analyst\u00a0<\/span>Janko Roettgers writes in his\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Lowpass<\/span><\/i>\u00a0newsletter\u00a0: \u201cIn order to expand the reach of its free\u00a0TV\u00a0<\/i>Plus\u00a0<\/i><\/span>streaming service\u00a0<\/span><\/i>,\u00a0<\/i>Samsung is\u00a0<\/i>contemplating a move that seemed unthinkable not too long ago: the consumer electronics giant has approached some of its competitors about launching\u00a0<\/i>TV\u00a0<\/i>Plus .\u00a0<\/i>on their TVs<\/i>\u00a0.\u00a0Apparently, in recent months, Samsung has been in talks about this with TCL.<\/span><\/i><\/i><\/i><\/i><\/i><\/i><\/i><\/i><\/i><\/i><\/p>\n

Samsung TV Plus is a so-called\u00a0<\/span>FAST<\/span><\/i>\u00a0(Free Ad-Supported Streaming) service similar to The Roku Channel, Amazon Freevee, Vizio WatchFree+ and LG Channels.\u00a0These services typically offer free TV channels that mimic the classic TV guide, with ads before, during, and after the show.\u00a0Samsung TV Plus offers over 1,800 channels from all over the world.<\/span><\/p>\n
