The range honours the genius of the talented creators of musical instruments and the lute-making tradition with its roots in Cremona, Italy.<\/p>\n<div id=\"g1-fluid-wrapper-counter-1\" class=\"g1-fluid-wrapper \" style=\"width:662px;\" data-g1-fluid-width=\"662\" data-g1-fluid-height=\"372\">\n<div class=\"g1-fluid-wrapper-inner\" style=\"padding-bottom:56.19335347432%;\">\n\t       <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"New Homage Collection from Sonus faber\" width=\"662\" height=\"372\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fH2RurXlcp0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\t       <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The four new models include the\u00a0<strong>Guarneri G5<\/strong>\u00a0(fifth\u00a0generation) 2-way standmount,\u00a0<strong>Serafino G2<\/strong>\u00a03.5-way (second\u00a0gen) and\u00a0<strong>Amati G5<\/strong>\u00a03.5-way (fifth\u00a0gen) floorstanders, plus the 3-way\u00a0<strong>Vox G3<\/strong>\u00a0(third\u00a0gen) centre channel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The four Homage models will be available in three luxurious finishes: red, wenge and graphite.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-154070\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/HOMAGE_LOCATION_MIRA_25954.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1536\" height=\"2048\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/HOMAGE_LOCATION_MIRA_25954.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/HOMAGE_LOCATION_MIRA_25954-1200x1600.jpeg 1200w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/HOMAGE_LOCATION_MIRA_25954-770x1027.jpeg 770w, https:\/\/www.stereoindex.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/HOMAGE_LOCATION_MIRA_25954-1152x1536.jpeg 1152w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1536px) 100vw, 1536px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Improved Homage cabinets<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The latest computer simulation and testing equipment has improved the cabinets, which now feature class-leading technology, helped by Sonus faber\u2019s 2021 acquisition of the De Santi woodworking facility, its previous supplier of 35 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dramatic improvements have been made to the bracing and porting system, which allow greater efficiency and output while maintaining resonance control. The midrange and tweeter chambers have also seen radical change.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Homage retains the classic iteration of the lute shape, first introduced in the previous Homage Tradition collection, but with modified metalwork including smooth, rounded edges, with a graphite grey anodised finish.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>New Intono technology<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Intono is a proprietary Sonus faber technology that addresses the drawbacks of ported cabinet and sealed enclosure designs, yet plays to their strengths.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Intono uses a midrange driver ducted into a further sealed enclosure which is tuned just above peak pressure frequency. When the port unloads, or goes below its tuning frequency, the pressure is equalised into the alternate chamber, significantly reducing impedance peaks. The Intono system cleverly offers the\u00a0<em>benefits<\/em>\u00a0of ported and sealed-enclosure designs, in a more efficient system. Intono is available in the Amati G5 and Sefafino G2.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>New midrange drivers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Amati and Serafino models benefit from a new, more efficient 150 mm natural fibre midrange driver with a neodymium magnet, plus a new shorter and wider voice coil for greater control, a faster response and more overall force. The entire system has also been mass-loaded to counterbalance any resonant vibration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Amati<\/strong>\u00a0benefits from a new 220 mm bass driver with a 23.6 % increase in force. Two separate ultralight CCAW voice coils are implemented in a custom-formed neodymium Slug featuring two air gaps for maximum speed, with an integrated heat sink for improved power handling; the Finite Element Method was deployed to give the Amati unrivalled bass performance in its category.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuning of the\u00a0<strong>Guarneri<\/strong>\u2019s 150 mm driver has led to improvements in control and has tamed resonance right down to 15 Hz. A purpose built neodymium motor system combined with a new tuning frequency, allows for deeper extension without distortion.
